Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for a Breast Augmentation. Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.
The technical answer is yes, they do make implants between 100 and 150 cc. You did not mention why you wanted implants that size. In most women, the diameter of these small implants is too narrow to achieve a natural look. See a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss size and shape.
Good morning!yes there are breast implants made that are 100cc. It obviously yields an extremely modest augmentation- so modest that in most patients you will likely not see any result at all. Remember, 100cc is only about 6.5 tablespoons. At this size range, you may be a candidate for fat grafting instead of an implant. I would discuss your desires with a board certified plastic surgeon.I hope this helps
Thanks for your question. Implants must be proportionate to your frame to look natural. In addition they must fit the base diameter of you breast. If an implant is too wide then it will normally spill out laterally into the arm pit area. Conversely one that is too narrow will give an awkward "torpedo" like shape. Hopefully you can find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon that can go through your options. Best of Luck!
Hello dear, it woulld be great to know why you want that size, but I also have to tell you that they're from 120 to 150, but you can research with your chosen surgeon
Rather than focus on implant size, why not focus more on outcome? The best results are achieved when you have then option of try different implants in our office and selecting based on how you want to look. While there are implants in the sub-200 range, most patients don't choose them as the degree of change is not to their liking
Finding the correct size can be daunting when you first start looking into the options. Typically less than a 200 to 250 cc implant is the smallest I would recommend. The most important issue is to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon for a consult.
Hello Dear, thanks for your question, In my practice I recommend my patients that they should do their normal activities after 5 to 6 weeks from surgery
I was trained in performing breast augmentation under local anesthesia during my residency. It is something I don't get asked to do often but it is something I feel comfortable doing. I would prefer to do it with an anesthesiologist present "just in case" but I'm happy to discuss the...
Thank you for your question. It raises an interesting point about the rising rate of severe allergies. We deal with iodine and latex allergies all the time, but I have not had to address metal allergies. The instruments that we use in surgery are titanium and stainless steel. You may want to ask...
