To make an assessment on the outcome of a cosmetic treatment we generally need to see proper before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures and ask your provider to forward the pictures they took. Your fat distribution looks somewhat unnatural and I am not a big fan of chemical, fat destruction, and think Liposuction is a far better option for removing fat in this area. You still have fat at your jawline and the central submental area looks over treated. It looks like you have platysmal bands, which may have been there all along but became exposed when the fat was removed. Fat removal is permanent and irreversible. There isn’t much you can do at this point. Attempting to correct your outcome could be attempted with Revision Liposuction, fat transfer, or a combination of both. These are difficult procedures with high degrees of uncertainty, and should only be attempted by providers who have extensive liposuction experience with a proven track record. Revision work is many times more difficult than primary Liposuction, and the chance of having a high-quality outcome once the procedure has been done incorrectly is not great. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
