Question

I have capsular contracture on my left breast. I’m choosing a different surgeon this time and wanted to know if it’s possible to get good results from using a different incision site on one side than the other one had? I need a revision but wanted advice on if it’s a good idea or not to take this route of a different incision and insertion route. I have 700cc shells with a 1600cc overfill under the muscle Thanks you!!

breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals.

No matter what is done, you will not have good results with 1600 cc's and each surgery just weakens your own tissue even more. Please go down in size. Your stretched out capsule can be tightened for better support. if needed, mesh can be added. Your hard balls are not natural looking and will give you trouble.

It may be necessary to use a different approach for a cap select to be surgery.
There are a number of variables to take in consideration each surgeon will have their own preference.
Using excessively large implants will always increase the chance of undesirable side effects, complication rates, and need for revision surgery.
When the breast is almost entirely made up of implant, the technical aspect of capsulectomy surgery becomes more challenging.
