Thank you for the question. While the results of fat transfer to the breast can vary depending on the individual characteristics of the patient, I generally tell my patients that they can expect to maintain approximately 1/2 to 1 full cup size increase long term. This depends on not only how much donor fat can be harvested for grafting, but also how much recipient tissue you have to accept the graft. Based on your pictures, I would judge that you are currently a small B cup and would likely be able to achieve a full B or small C with 1 round of fat grafting. In order to meet your expectations of a full C/D cup, an implant would be a much more predictable option. Hope this helps!

By transferring fat to the breast, the patient can achieve a more harmonious look with a better ratio between the size of the areola and the shape of the breast. The amount of body fat at the moment must be taken into account when planning the surgery. This is to see how much fat you can have for the new seeding, most likely if you can reach one size up you. In general, fat transfer to the breast will primarily fill your breast out as they are. To achieve the size you are wanting, it is likely not possible with that transfer alone.

To be sure, I recommend that you have an in person consultation with two or more experienced board-certified plastic surgeons in your area.

It is very likely that you need enlargement of 250-300 ml. to achieve desired cups size. This will, most likely, need 2 surgeries, 8-12 months appart. Considering your shape and size, you are ideal candidate for breast augmentation with implants. Good luck.

fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. Thank you for your question. You’re a good candidate for a fat transfer. You can increase about 1 cup size solely with that. Whenever a fat transfer is undertaken, you should be aware that in approximately 4 to 6 months, should you desire another round to increase the volume that is always a possibility. Good luck.

There are some limitations to fat, transferring to the breast. First and foremost, the amount of fat that you have on your body that can be successfully harvested from your abdomen, or other places will determine how much fat can be processed for injection. Also, then understand that if you inject 300 cc of fat, you can expect that around 200 cc of that remains if all goes well. Right now our best estimate is that approximately 65% fat retains at one year. The other tough part about fat transfers is that sometimes one breast takes better than the other one. Sometimes for more predictability an implant is used. However, if you don’t want to have implants, I think this is an excellent option for you, but it may require additional surgery with another stage of fat transfer, if your initial size isn’t to be desired. No, you won't be able to achieve a D cup with just fat. At most you can expect is one cup increase in size. If you want more, get implants.

Unfortunately, fat transfers to the breast increase the size by 1/2 cup, and in rare cases, by one full cup.
Trying to go to a large C or small D is unrealistic (you now appear to be a very small B cup).

While I understand you are not considering an augmentation with implants....You are a great candidate for a transaxillary silicone submuscular breast augmentation. I would consider only a round smooth implant (the most common used in the world), and I do not feel you will require fat transfers. Only guessing on size, I feel a 350-425cc moderate + would give you the size and shape you desire (with side boob...this is a wider implant with less forward projection).
