I am considering a 360 liposuction. I have 2 uterine fibroids one approximately the size of an egg and the other a grape. They do cause some discomfort to my day to day life. Can they interfere with this surgical procedure or the recovery process?
Answer: Liposuction and uterine fibroids The presence of uterine fibroids should not be a contraindication for liposuction. The fibroids are internal to the abdominal wall and liposuction deals with fat outside the abdominal wall.

Answer: Liposuction candidate Dear Priscilla89, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination, but based on your description, your fibroids should not be a contraindication for a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Fibroids and Liposuction PriscillaI appreciate your concern, however small fibroids such as yours, should not interfere with abdominal liposuction. If they are causing issues, such as pain on a regular basis, you should see your gynecologist. Please confirm my advice with both your gynecologist and plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: Can uterine fibroids interfere with liposuction 360 or the recovery process? Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Uterine fibroids are not a contraindication for liposuction. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 30 or less. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Good luck :)
