Tip plastic and alar trim surgery only. Not happy with the result. Will the 'pinch look' ever subside as my nose heals?

I had my nose done Just this Feb 3 2017 and I am 12 days post op now.I am Asian and I told my doctor that I just want a very minimal work. My nose My surgeon is from the philippines referred by a family friend of mine. When he saw me he said my nostril is really wide and he said he suggest alar trim and tiplasty.My tip is still very swollen up to now. My question is will that crease on top of my nostril eventually subsides as I heal? need a rhinoplasty expert's opinion please!

The top of the difficulty rank in primary ethnic noses is, indisputably, the filipino rhinoplasty, with great difference ahead of other asians, afroamericans, arabs, etc.One of its hard issues is the think and inelastic skin, and the pinching effect you feel is very common when you (have necessarily to) reduce the alar flare by alar base reduction.Hopefully it will improve overtime.Be extremely patient.

You are very early in your recovery period and the nose is expected to be quite swollen at this point.The swelling during this time is rarely symmetric. One side will always resolve more quickly than the other. The majority of the swelling will resolve in 3-6 months, and will continue to resolve as your nose heals for up to 1-2 years. You have not reached your final shape as the nose will continue to heal and reduce in size for up to a year. Once it does reach its final shape you may be more pleased with the appearance of your nose.
