Answer: Asymmetry Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. I can understand your concern related to breast cancer. Rest assured that asymmetries between the breasts, even significant ones, are fairly common. This can be corrected cosmetically with a breast lift and/or combination of implants. I recommend that you meet with a board certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss your options, but also discuss your breast health and genetic testing for the BRCA gene with your primary care physician. All the best

Answer: Breast Asymmetry and Strong Family History of Breast Cancer The most concerning part of your question is related to your very strong family history of breast cancer. Please do yourself a favor, and bring this to the attention of a primary care doctor so that consideration can be given to working you up for a genetic cause for your family's breast cancer diagnoses. You have breast asymmetry that is not uncommon. It's correctable in the hands of board-certified Plastic Surgeon, but again, please check on genetic screening for breast cancer before you do anything else. All my best.

Answer: Right larger than left Thank you for your question and photograph. Asymmetry between one's breasts is quite common and very normal. Should you desire a perkier breast with less droop, you may consider a breast lift. Should you desire that breast volume to be more symmetric, you may consider an augmentation to your left breast or a reduction to your right breast. Given the family history of breast cancer, best to screen properly with mammograms and regular examinations. Best of luck.

Answer: Why is my right boob so much bigger than left? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry to hear of your mother and sister's diagnoses. Because of the number of first degree relatives that have been afflicted with breast cancer I would speak with your primary care doctor about genetic testing for the BRCA gene. Depending on the results you can then make the best decision for you and your health. Without the gene you can improve upon your natural asymmetry with a breast lift procedure. Hope this helps.
