Is there a way to make my midface shorter? Considering chin reduction and sliding osteotomy. Advice? (photo)

My face is very long and I’m considering chin reduction and a sliding osteotomy(?) but I think the problem lies more within my mid face than lower face. Is there something that can be done to make that smaller as well ?

Based on the images provided you could potentially benefit from chin augmentation with either filler or a chin implant.  Chin filler is temporary and lasts about a year.   A chin implant is performed through a small submental incision and will provide permanent augmentation.

I agree with Dr. Morrisette that the addition of a chin implant would be advisable.  A second genioplasty can present many potential complications such as nerve damage fractures of the chin and dificulty with the procedure its self.  Best wishes
