Hi, based on the pictures it’s hard to determine. But you may benefit from a combo approach. Botox in the masseter muscles will reduce clenching and eventually atrophy the muscle. This may not sounds good, but if you chew a lot of gum or clench your teeth, then this muscle is thickened or hypertrophied. The botox, reduces the function of the muscle and therefore it will eventually thin out. That will help with one aspect of the face slimming. Next would be to evaluate adipose tissue. I cannot say for sure based on the pictures you posted, but if there is a little bit of fat near the “jowl”(which you don’t have!), then off label kybella may help reduce this adipose tissue as well. The combo treatment should give you a more slimmer look. The final treatment to consider would be ultherapy or Morpheus 8 treatment. These are skin tightening treatments, both can give a “shrink wrap” effect of the skin for someone as young as you and can be the finishing touch for a more contoured slimmer face.
It takes a series of treatments to get good results with Kybella. Keep in mind, Kybella is good for dissolving the submental fat under the chin area while contouring the jawline and making the chin more defined, but a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement with non-invasive options. I recommend a combination approach with Thermage, Ultherapy, and Exilis. InMode FaceTite / AccuTite with VASER Neck Liposuction is the best option for contouring and tightening the chin, neck, and jawline area. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Although Kybella may be able to help with your lower jawline it appears that you may have masseter muscle enlargement creating the widened appearance, which can be treated with Botox to nice improvement. Hope this helps.
Hi there,Thank you for your question and photos. Kybella is great for treating the small pinchable area of fat under your chin, otherwise known as the "double chin". Based on your photos, you may be a good candidate for Kybella. I recommend an in-person evaluation with your local Expert Injector to determine if Kybella is the best option for you. They will review your concerns and map out a treatment plan to address your concerns. Good luck!
Kybella is a good option to dissolve the fat on the double chin and jawline. If you fit the applicator, you could also try CoolSculpting. Other alternatives include Secret RF microneedling and PDO thread lifting. Make sure you are getting treatment from a board-certified physician or other experienced health care professional.
You would be very happy with what Kybella injections above and below the jawline would do for you. Your jawline would be thinner and much more defined, and skin tightening would also occur. It would probably take 2 rounds of injections.
Dear r_grand, Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office.  I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any...
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
Chemical fat destruction is hardly the opposite of fat transfer. I do not recommend your proposed treatment suggestion. The swelling in the neck after these treatments is profound. Constricted structures like fingers will behave very differently than the unopposed laxity of the neck. Alargan...
