Dear r_grand,Kybella typically takes 3 to 5 treatments to work. This is why I've stopped carrying Kybella in my office. I recommend neck liposuction more often then any injectable procedure for the neck now. It provides superior results gives me more control over the area than any injectable. It also costs about the same as what you paid for your first kybella session. The liposuction can be done under local while awake in the office and recovery is about the same as kybella.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
In our practice, we do not recommend Kybella because is not very effective. It must be repeated multiple times and patients become significantly swollen for several weeks after each procedure. Much more information is needed to make a determination about the best procedure for you, so a full set of facial and neck photographs will be required. Liposuction can accomplish removal of fat deposits above the platysma muscle in the neck, while a surgical necklift is required to remove fat deposits below the platysma muscle which also includes a platysma-plasty to significantly improve the jawline.
I personally do not recommend this treatment because it is inferior to Liposuction in many ways.It is unpredictable, Gives a massive inflammatory response and requires the patients go through this painful and challenging recovery multiple times. In some instances the medication is more effective than anticipated leaving patients defected to the point of looking skeletonized.I was not able to find much information on the half-life of deoxycholic acid. I did find this article you can read through it yourself if you’d like.Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the...
Chemical fat destruction is hardly the opposite of fat transfer. I do not recommend your proposed treatment suggestion. The swelling in the neck after these treatments is profound. Constricted structures like fingers will behave very differently than the unopposed laxity of the neck. Alargan...
"For a double chin, InMode FaceTite with VASERlipo would give you the best result. With significant neck sagging you would need a facelift / neck lift with muscle tightening (platysmaplasty). At the same time, I would recommend lasers (Fraxel, CO2, Halo, or Erbium) and microneedling RF...
