Fractora reaction - normal? (Photo)

Question

Yesterday I had fractora done on my arms to reduce loose skin. My arms are very swollen, and only one is significantly bruised. Is this normal after fractora treatment? When will this go down?

Thanks for your question and your photo. This appears to be a normal reaction from the Fractora, as it can create bruising, swelling, and visible holes from the needles. I suggest rest, ice, and compression, as well as keeping open lines of communication between you and your doctor.Best,Anil Shah MD

You can have bruising or swelling associated with microneedling.  Arnica, ice, and compression can be used to help relieve the swelling and bruising.
