Yesterday I had fractora done on my arms to reduce loose skin. My arms are very swollen, and only one is significantly bruised. Is this normal after fractora treatment? When will this go down?

Thanks for your question and your photos. While your treatment does seem more on the aggressive side, your skin's reaction is normal. Your skin will be red with some blood and fluid coming from the holes made by the needles. Do not touch these areas and wash your face with a gentle cleanser...

I had both Fractora and Fraxel dual treatments. Numbing agent for an hour did nothing. What went wrong?

Thanks for you question. Sorry to hear that you were in pain during the procedure. Depending on the patient, sometimes numbing cream just isn't enough. In the future, ask your technician if they have other numbing agents. Such as injectible lidocaine, pain medications, an IV drip, or ProNox...

Washing the face after Fractora either the same day or the day after the procedure depends on the recommendations of the doctor that performed the procedure.In my practice I recommend my patients to wash their face the next day.

I highly recommend fractora rf since it is consistent and has a fast recovery time. Typically 2-3 sessions are needed.
