I had a terrible experience with a tummy tuck. Scars are horrific. Doggy ears are so much like a Beagal. Please give me suggestions on what I can do to get that tiny waistline

Answer: Tummy tuck revision Dear China7423, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination, but based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from scar revision and liposuction. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Candidacy for TT revision? Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note a healed abdominoplasty, moderate fatty tissue of the abdomen, significant fatty of flanks and hips. The fullness at the terminations of the abdominoplasty incisions may represent excess fat or excess fat / excess skin. Your candidacy for cosmetic surgery requires consideration of many factors. One is measurement of your BMI (body mass index equals weight in kg / square of height in meters). You can find BMI calculators on the internet. If your BMI is > 30, the cosmetic result will not be optimal. If your BMI is > 35, your operative risk will rise. Weight loss through diet and exercise is recommended under these circumstances prior to surgery. If your weight falls within satisfactory parameters, I would recommend liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and hips. This should flatten the abdomen and narrow the waist, accentuating the hourglass configuration. If this does not satisfactorily eliminate the dog ears, I would recommend skin excision further posteriorly. After abdominal liposuction, one may be able to advance the abdominoplasty scar further downward closer to the pubic area Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for in-person evaluation and discussion. Best wishes...
