You can't be serious. No to the whole thing. Talk to your surgeon. You two need to have a serious conversation.
Depending on the type of rhinoplasty you undergo, you may have facial and nasal swelling a week postoperative, and you may be at risk for nasal bleeding. Alcohol is a blood thinner and should be avoided for at least two weeks postoperative. Taking MDMA may be lethal. Please use sound judgement moving forward. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Thank you for your question. I would not recommend going out 7 days after. I agree that you should protect your investment. Anything can happen whether its an accidental bump on the nose. Don't risk injury if you don't have to. Best of luck!Dhaval m. Patel Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Hoffman Estates Barrington Oakbrook Chicago

Yes- thank you for asking. The muscles of the nose that allow nostril flaring should move after a rhinoplasty. In a few cases, the swelling and muscle being stunned will prevent movement initially until the area resolves. Speak to your rhinoplasty surgeon. Best wishes!
