Can a septoplasty really stop chronic ringing in the ears (tinnitus)?

So i have a crooked nose and i do experience tinnitus and i was just wodnering is a septoplasty can fix that. Thanks

The best answer is never!  Use this opportunity to help you quit.  There is no scientific data regarding nicotine and healing from septoplasty, but we do know that nicotine (even in its pure form) has many other harmful effects in the body.

Every surgery facility will have a different policy for earrings and surgery.  I would recommend contacting the nurse manage or charge nurse of your surgery center or hospital to ask about their policy.Best Wishes

Sustained a nose injury and now trouble breathing. Deviated Septum?

You certainly may have injured your nose causing these symptoms.  A deviated nasal septum may be the most likely cause, but there are others.  I recommend consultation with a board certified otolaryngologist or facial plastic surgeon to address your nasal breathing issues.Best wishes.
