Turbinate scar tissue removal

Question

Hello im 55 years old female. I’m very interested in removal of scar tissue for septum as well as the turbinates . I no I’m loaded with it ahd breathing isn’t real good . Unfortunately I made mistake and went with a Surgeron that was very turbinate happy ugh . I begged him please I don’t want a reduction ,well he did two . I had another surgery planned for August 2025, again he had done in his surgical planning another reduction .needless to say I cancelled my procedure as the doctor and his PA-C really thought I was crazy saying ENS. They weren’t on the same page as me about air flow etc. was quite sad actually. So now I have this scar tissue that needs removed . My breathing is horrible I like to at least address the basics here , along with fixing the mess that was left . I understand this takes any extremly well trained hand ? Any thoughts advice surgerons please? I do have one in mind that I’m going to set up consultation with as Ohio has fantastic facial plastics .thanks so much

Occasionally, scar bands form from the nasal septum to the turbinates after septoplasty and turbinate reduction, when these procedures are performed during rhinoplasty surgery. Many times we can anesthetize and cut these scar bands in the office for better nasal breathing. If the scar tissue is very far in the back of your nose, sometimes it's helpful to do this with general anesthetic, however, there should be little downtime and little surgical time.
