Is it possible to only make the nose smaller with the bridge? (Photo)

Question

I am a biracial woman. I want my nose to look more delicate and smaller like my mothers. Truthfully I want to get rid of my fathers nose on my face as he severely abused me but my mother was my light. I like my side profile view, is it possible for the surgeon to not touch my bridge. Only to make my tip less bulbous and nostrils smaller? I want my face to be more softer. Would this be closed or open?

The width of the tip is controlled by the two cartilages that form the tip. They can be changed in various ways, to narrow the tip, like in the lady whose photos I posted with this answer. If the bridge is in good position, there's no need to make changes to the bridge.
Remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs -- work on the tip cartilages -- require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise.
