If I gain weight after lipo, will the fat appear in lumps?

When I told my general physician that I would be getting lipo, she advised me that when I do gain weight back... It will appear in lumps. How true is this? Is there a way to prevent it?

 A hematoma after liposuction is rare. It's always a good idea to evacuate a significant hematoma but even then there will be prolong convalescence including swelling which would explain the firmness of your chest wall.

It's a good question. It's unlikely that liposuction would do anything to jumpstart your weight loss. Liposuction is a sculpting procedure, and not meant for any significant weight loss.
