Lichen Sclerosis and BII?

Question

Is it common to develop lichen sclerosis as a result of BII or silicone breast implants? If I remove the implants, would it be likely to remove the lichen sclerosis clear up? I know many women feel various autoimmune disorder clear as a rely of removing the implants. Are there ways to treat lichen sclerosis besides using a steroid cream?

I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.

Hello, thank you for your question. lThere is no association betweern breast implants and lichen sclerosus. I think that the cause should not be directed or associated with the implants. I would discuss this with a well trained dermatologist, but the implants should not be causing the problem.  I hope this helps.
