Itching may develop during the healing phase after liposuction. However, if it is not localized to the treated ares then you need to be evaluated for other medical conditions. Have you discussed your symptoms with your primary care physician?A multitude of skin conditions are associated with itching, also autoimmune disorders, blood disorders, liver and gallbladder disease, infections, cancer, metabolic and neurological and endocrine disorders. The workup for itching maybe complicated, but I'm certain your primary care physician will be up to the task.Hope this finds you well.
There can be itching during the healing phase after your procedure, which can last 3-6 months. To improve healing, I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. This is absolutely normal. Especially during the healing period the fist month or so. As the collagen stars reforming and restructuring itself during the 2nd and 3rd months this sensation will gradually subside. Often recommended to use over the counter benadryl cream as its reported to be effective. Numbness in the treated areas can continue up to a year as it takes long for the nerves to heal i.e 1mm a day growth.
Following liposuction, the nerves can sometimes be irritated by the action of liposuction itself. While they are healing, the sensations that are transmitted to the brain can be interpreted as numbness, itchiness or several other sensations. This is normal.Nerve tissue is generally very slow to heal and the process of recovery takes longer than for other types of tissue, such as skin. We have seen clients report itching for a few weeks, although 3 months seems a bit long. I would consult with your surgeon to see if anything else might be going on.Hope that helps.
Good thorough liposuction can improve your shape and contour and with laser accomplish good skin tightening. The problem I see on your pictures is that it seems that you also have abdominal muscle relaxation that can only be solved by muscle plication during a tummy tuck. If you want the best...
In short the answer is yes provided you get a clean bill of health from your primary care provider-physician. The fact that smart lipo is performed under local anesthesia makes it the safest form of liposuction out there. Make sure you're plastic surgeon is experienced in this technique and does...
You are an excellent candidate for Laser Liposuction. One of the advantages of liposuction vs. non-invasive treatments, like CoolSculpting and Sculpture, is that it should only take 1 treatment to achieve your goals. Liposuction can get all the fat out. The laser increases the skin...
