I did Upper and lower abs. Let me start by saying how nervous I was. Thankfully I was working with Trish, the coordinator there, who is an Amazing, caring person. She has a way of making you feel right. About the procedure. It was fast. Didn't take long at all. All I wish is that I would have done flanks and back too. The 360lipo that they say. I want a feminine waist. And Upper and lower lipo wasn't enough. Maybe next year I will go back to get all of that done. If I do I will definitely post pictures. I'll document my experience better.( more pics) Oh, they offer military discount. 10%
I had developed a large double chin. I viewed more photo of before and after photos from the side and it was very noticeable. Took Arnica orally that morning. I booked and went to Jeff Birchall in Rancho Bernardo San Diego area.-Consult and GO: I received 3 vials 8/2/19 on my lunch hour only iced the area prior to being injected. I felt some of the injections but wasn't bad. Kind of spicy and tender in upper jaw area. Very quick professional treatment and back to work. Kept icing and arnica and the swelling began. My neck looked like I swallow a fish and had in in the bottom of my throat and neck and jiggly. Day 2 Saturday woke up and iced and arnica. Slight bruising and still swollen. I will be posting pics prior treatment and throughout healing process and results in 6 weeks.
I wanted disport for my crows feet and glabellar lines. Dr. Birchall Was so friendly and explained what he was doing. The office staff was professional and friendly… I even got a first-time patient discount. Will definitely be going back after having such a nice first experience.
I am a "newbie" to all procedures. I recently had a laser treatment and some fillers done, as both of my daughters are getting married in the same 4-month period! Dr. Jeff was patient and kind, as was his staff. They are not high-pressure, and are always concerned most with "What is the patient looking for, results-wise?" - not "How much can we get them to spend." In my case, I wanted to be the best version of myself - look less tired and less haggard for both weddings, without having to return for multiple touch-ups. They helped me decide on a course of action, including skin care. I would recommend Dr. Jeff, DermaCare, and his staff in a heartbeat - in fact, I have recommended him to many of my friends! I will return - though I don't feel an urgent need to do so, as the work so far has been noticeable, yet not "over the top" - so, very successful based on my initial goal! Thanks, DermaCare - and thanks, Dr. Jeff!
I had cellulaze a month ago. It's sore to the touch, but I can sit no problem. The first 3 days were the sorest. Then it started to calm down. It's good to wear spanks shorts to keep from jiggling. I see improvement. But my Doctor told me this: It takes about 3 months for the soreness to go away and to see some results. He said that improvement will continue for up to 1 year to see final results. I had medium degree cellulite and have 3 incision marks in one leg and 4 in the other. He got to the bottom of my butt where there was some dimpling. He also said they expect 80% improvement, but could certainly get more. I think I am going to love it. I have a pool and bathing suits show those thighs. I went to Dr. Birchall (Dermacare in San Diego). He did Cellulaze on 2 of his staff and they shared their pictures and they look great. Takes about 3 months for your legs to start to feel normal. It's not terribly painful, but you know it's there. His cost is $3,800, he recently had a special of $500 off. The Dr. and his staff are wonderful. I highly recommend. I hope this helps answer some questions for people. There is no other way to get rid of cellulite. Even exercise. If you have it, you have it. This procedure cuts the bands where your fat pushes through that give those dimples.
Even when I was very young and thin, I always had at least one spare chin. People often told me how pretty I was, but I could only see a pig face when I looked at photos. I tried for years to avoid them and I often felt guilty when people in groups would get upset with me for ducking out. When I agreed, the photo taker would always smile and say, "see, you look great" while showing me pig-faced pics. I would end up in tears. Now, I cannot stop taking and posting selfies. The fat face is gone! I had laser lipo under my chin. I still look like me, only a much better version. I can't get over the fact that "it" is all gone! Right after the surgery, I looked better, but I worried because I still had a weird bulge on one side under my jaw. It was better than the double chin, but not what I'd envisioned. I was disappointed, but lived with it and didn't say anything until... suddenly... it was gone and I felt great! I would do it again any day. Here are my before and after pics...
I am a 43 year old female with some uneven texture and tone, had cystic acne in my 20's that left minor scarring which I used Hydroquonone for. Still never felt totally comfortable with my skin and felt it did not have a glow. I did one treatment and was amazed at the change in my skin, it took about 6 weeks when I really noticed how even the tone and texture was and people started noticing who I have not seen in a long time. I was so happy decided to do another one and will be anxious to see in 6 weeks if there is yet further imporvement. Very very thrilled at the outcome and the fact people have noticed without me telling them I had fraxel.
I spent $600 for my face, and another $600 for my chest. Normal price is $1000 per location.Pro - one treatment and you are done (unlike fraxel, which needs 4)Pro - I can definitely see smoother skin one week laterCon - you are truly "down" for 4 or more days, soaking skin in vinegar every 2-3 hours.Con - while my face peeled on day 4 and 5, as doctor estimated, my chest took a few days longer (also as my doctor estimated)**If you do your chest, plan on wearing an accomodating shirt so you can continue applying aquafor until you are done peeling.**You can not do the vinegar soak too much. I used a big stainless steel mixing bowl, added ice to my vinegar and water. It felt great to apply ice-cold water.STAY OUT of the sun, close the curtains/blinds.I have done a procedure before where they told me to use aquafor and stay out of the sun... I did not follow their advice back then and had INTENSE pain. This time, I followed every bit of advice, and am very happy with the low level of pain and the great results.**One tip I wish I had done. They said to get soft wash cloths. I bought some from the bed and bath aisle. I should have gone to the baby aisle. Next time, I'll do that.
Had one procedure and not sure yet if its worth it yet but my pores are smaller and the swelling has subsided... That said, here is the progression so far. I had the procedure done in Rancho Bernardo ($600) The procedure was administered by a nurse and they recommened a series of 3 treatments but there was NO pressure to buy a package up front which was great. The procedure was Thursday morning. I arrived one hour early so they could numb my face with cream for one hour. My face was very numb but it still was uncomfortable and it felt like getting a hot match tattoo all over my face. The pain was only when the laser was active - once it passed the area it didn't hurt. She did 6 passes. On Friday night, the skin around my mouth and chin broke out in tiny pimples. I called them and the said that this is normal, particularly for those who have had acne or if this is their first procedure. They advised me to use my regular acne products. I bought some Neutrogena Rapid Clear gel that that helped subside the breakout and reduce the redness overnight - it wasn't completely gone but it was much better in the morning. I am taking pictures every day to see the progression and will update about each week or so. Updated on 15 Mar 2009: Had one procedure and not sure yet if its worth it yet but my pores are smaller and the swelling has subsided... That said, here is the progression so far. I read a lot of the reviews and wanted to comment on a few things:
Your logic is sound, multiple treatments would lead to better results. There is however the concept of "the law diminishing returns". Some fat cells are more resistant to the cold and they will survive within the limits of standard protocols and so at some point you would potentially maximize the results. To affect those resistant cells you would need to lower the temperature or prolong the freezing times which would then result in unwanted damage to the skin.
Sorry to hear about your experience. One thing that we like, and hate, about Botox is that the affect always goes away. In this case of unwanted affects like yours, rest assured, these unwanted affects will resolve (but so will the wanted affects). Sometimes we try an eye drop called "Lopidine", which may give temporary relief from the eye symptoms. You will want to talk to your doctor to see if that is an option for you.
I think your 2 consults described the range of possibilities and unfortunately we don't know how your body is going respond exactly. A conservative approach would be to start with the one. Wait and see the results. If your chin looks great, you are done. If you see a "shelf", you confirmed that the CoolSculpting is very affective and then add the 2 additional cycles to treat the transition zones on either side of the applicator. The aggressive approach is just go for the 3 and get it done. Good luck.
You are an excellent candidate for Laser Liposuction. One of the advantages of liposuction vs. non-invasive treatments, like CoolSculpting and Sculpture, is that it should only take 1 treatment to achieve your goals. Liposuction can get all the fat out. The laser increases the skin tightening. You are also correct, that the best results are seen in people who are exercising and taking care of themselves. Good Luck
After lip injections, it is normal to expect lumpiness and swelling. Juvederm is like a water magnet and as the product lubricates the lumpiness resolves, but this can take 2-3 weeks. The swelling can also take 2-3 weeks to lessen. Finally bruising is common. Bottom line, you are just starting the recover process. Give things 2-3 weeks before coming to any conclusions. P.S. I don't recommend massaging any lumpiness unless the lump is visible after 3 days. You will just make the swelling worse. Good luck!
