I have been searching for doctors in the Northern Virginia area that perform this and I cannot find any.

I suggest that you contact a plastic surgeon who is relatively recent in practice and still does "lumps and bumps" and other minor cases.  You may also find a cosmetic or general dermatologist who uses subcision for acne scars. The internet is your friend because most doctor's offices can be contacted via email so you can find out who provides the service without numerous consults. Best of luck on your quest.  Alexis Parker MD
