Can I use a Dr Pen M8 if I have acne?

Hi @ lolo1315! This is an excellent question. Unfortunately, microneedling should not be performed on patient's with active acne since it can cause bacteria to spread and worsen the acne. I recommend seeing a dermatologist for a skin care regimen. I hope this was helpful!

While it is best to see a licensed dermatologist when you are considering any facial treatment, I can understand your desire to make changes, especially when you cannot see a doctor right now. However, I must caution you not to use any type of microneedling pen on active acne as that will spread bacteria around your face and worsen your problem. To achieve the greatest results is is best to wait until you can see a professional.
