28 year old transgender FtM - are there reduction or removal techniques that don't touch the areola at all?

I'm a 28 year old transgender FtM, researching non-typical top surgery techniques. Most techniques that make incisions around the areola are undesirable to me because I feel that the scar tissue compromises their appearance too much. Are there reduction or removal techniques that don't touch the areola at all? Are there limitations to them regarding size/skin elasticity/n-imf distance? Thank you
