Question

I'm a 25 year old female, and ever since I was born I had underweight. My whole family is thin so it is genetic, and my diet is how it should be. My issue is that I have a very thin face that I never really liked. I was wondering how much body fat they need to fill my cheeks so I have a fuller face? My height is 171 cm and my weight is 48 kg. Fat grafting can be done on most people, it does not require a large volume of donor fat in one location.  It can often be obtained with a combination from the flanks, inner knees, arms, and abdomen.  If there is not sufficient donor fat, you may also consider injectable gel fillers or poly-L-lactic acid.

Thanks for you question. When transferring fat to the face, you do not need alot of fat to accomplish good results. It can be taken from various places in very small quantities. It sounds like you probably do not have much storage, however I would consult with a Board Certified plastic surgeon so that he can examine you and determine where you need it in your face and how much is needed to accomplish this.
