Honestly I'm trying to figure out what Anesthesia is the safest I'm not scared going under the knife I'm more scared about waking back up. I have low iron & some times I have breathing problems but I don't have asthma at all. My mother has went under Anesthesia before & she woke up just fine. But she said since I'm allergic to a couple of things you never know. I'm really scared & I'm trying to get a fat transfer & I wanted to know which Anesthesia is the safest. Please all doctors let me know

I think going under general anesthesia is the best choice, Drs. who do surgery will tell you if they think with your medical history they would suggest general or not but I think you will be just fine. Best of luck.

With modern technology and techniques, all anesthesia are safe if one under certified experts.  Having said that, the safest would be local anesthesia alone and if fact fat transfer can be easily under local anesthesia.

Local anesthesia is safer than general anesthesia.
And fat transfer could be done with local anesthesia but I don’t recommend it.
I could recommend it doing it with local anesthesia and sedation, which is
also a more secure to general one. But now a days with modern
technology, techniques and studies, all anesthesia are safe if one under
certified experts. Don’t worry about the anesthesia if your surgeon works with
a certified anesthesiologist.

It's not so much the type of anesthesia but rather who is administering the anesthesia that is most important. Make sure you undergo surgery in an accredited surgical facility that is fully equipped to handle medical emergencies during surgery.

Safest anesthesia depends on the procedure you are having and the quality of your local anesthesiologists.   General anesthesia is very very safe if done by safe anesthesiologists.    Local anesthesia can be  safe or deadly depending on who is caring for and protecting the patient during the procedure.   Talk to your anesthesiologist in consultation as part of your pre operative visits and preparation.    General anesthesia with an MD anesthesiologist sitting next to you is very safe.
