You and your doctors (including your surgeon) have to make certain that your infection is cleared before proceeding with breast augmentation as an active infection during surgery may increase the risk of an implant infection. The amount of time to wait before proceeding with breast augmentation varies by surgeon so I would definitely keep your surgeon in the loop with what is going on and how you are doing. Best of luck!
