Each physician's office may handle payment for Sculptra treatments differently. Some physicians may charge for the entire series of treatments upfront and others may not. In our office, we charge per treatment visit.
It is normal to be paying for Sculptra in advance of the treatment because the doctor has to mix it up at least 48-72 hours in advance of your treatment and then those vials are mixed for you. With that being said, we usually get a pre-payment for each treatment session, rather than the whole thing at once. If your face is being treated, it will probably be 2 vials or $1400 per treatment and then 3 treatments. That can be a compromise. Finally, the only other question is if you are having a Sculptra butt augmentation which would also require multiple vials and then the prepayment would make sense. Hope that helps. All the best!
Thank you for your question. Each physician’s office policy for payment is different. Some may charge upfront and others may not. I hope this helps!

The doctor has to mix the Sculptra 72 hours in advance of your treatment and those vials are mixed for you. Hope this explanation was helpful. Best of luck with your treatments!
