Does sub brow lift shorten distance between eye and eyebrow? (Photo)

Question

I have drooping eyelids and would like to have a surgery to increase the height of the crease making my eyes look more awake. Doctors in South Korea suggested me to have a sub brow lift, a surgical method that makes the incision right under the eyebrows to remove excess skin. The scar will be hidden along the eyebrow line. Does this method shorten the distance between my eye and eyebrow? Thanks

This also depends on the amount of skin and muscle that is removed.   This is a very common procedure for my patients who have tattooed their eyebrow and want periorbital rejuvenation.   From your picture, you have a slight amount of lateral hooding that can be addressed with a sub-brow lift.  This can be done under local anesthesia with a very fast recovery.  Most often, you will see a subtle change the brow arc; but this does not deter from the efficacy of the procedure.
