Does 1ml filler have the potential to stretch skin?

Question

I’m a 27 year old male. I’ve had 1ml of dermal filler in my chin. I just stumbled upon an article about skin elasticity which got me a little bit worried. Is 1ml of filler enough to stretch out the skin an compromise elasticity? I know this has been asked before, but the answers are mostly about restoring volume with fillers, instead of sculpting like I had done. I’m not planning on doing filler another time. I was just curious for once.

Hello, hope you are well. The short answer is 'no.' There is not nearly sufficient tension placed on the skin that 1cc of filler would permanently affect its elastic properties.
