What causes my dark circles and will deviated septum surgery help? (Photos)

Question

I'm only 21 but have really bad dark circles under my eyes they start in the middle above my upper eyelid and go down like a c shape to my lower eyelid and also stop there in the middle. I have a deviated septum where I have a operation for this month. My question is will this also fix my dark circles, I have no allergies.

Unfortunately, your dark circles will not be addressed with a septoplasty. Your dark circles may be a result of genetics or hollowness underneath the eye, casting additional shadows and giving the appearance of discoloration. For treatment, an IPL can assist in treating the dark areas. Going forward, I would recommend you schedule a consultation with a board-certified expert to discuss your concerns and create an ideal treatment plan.

The surgery to correct your deviated septum will hopefully address some nasal issues that you have.  Dark circles are a difficult problem to address surgically and certainly will not be addressed with you septal surgery.  Best of luck with your surgery.
