Thank you for your recent photos and question!  It does not appear to be infected at this point in time however I would keep in close contact with your surgeon to assure there is no implant exposure.  You want to watch out for redness, discharge and/or fever or chills.  Best of luck!

Thank you for your question and photo. This type of separation happens ocassionally. The wound itself looks healthy. I recommend that you keep in close contact with your surgeon. They will be able to guide you through this post operative healing process. In the meantime, keep an out for infection and call the office if you experience any symptoms. You are looking for redness, drainage or heat. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear about your concernss after breast augmentation surgeyr. Remember that your plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to accurate assessment, advice, and the most meaningful reassurance.Having said the above, based on your photographs, I do not see signs of a serious problem such as infection and/or implant exposure. Again, given your concerns continue close follow-up with your plastic surgeon (earlier than already scheduled if necessary) for good assessment, advice, and (hopefully) meaningful reassurance.Best wishes.

It is important to have an in-person medical assessment regarding this issue as it is difficult to determine virtually. Continue to update your doctor in the matter and follow their post-op protocol.

Please ensure to get cleared by your doctor before engaging in specific physical activity before the 3 month healing period has ended as the healing stage is crucial for healthy results.

It generally takes around 6 months to a year to see your final results. Your tissues will take time to relax and allow your implants to "Drop and Fluff" settling into place. Should a revision cross your mind, it is best to wait at least 6 months to a year before doing so.

Our tips for recovery following breast augmentation are to wear a supportive sports bra for 3 months post-operative and refrain from lifting anything heavier than 10 lbs for 3 weeks as we don't want any strain at your incision sites. Make sure to keep the area of your stitches clean by cleansing with hydrogen peroxide daily. Showering is encouraged! But, no sitting in water for 2 weeks following surgery (no baths, hot tubs, pools etc.).

I tend to agree with your PS although it would have been better if it did not open. It's just a partial thickness and does not reach your implant since the implant usually sits deeper, and there is another layer of stitches in the dept, keeping the wound edges together.
I usually advise some antiseptic skin ointment like Fucidin Bactrioben or Betadine.It should heal in the next ten days if the surface infection does not get in.I wish you all the best.
