Is SPF 60 enough to protect my Tummy tuck scar from sun and tanning bed rays?

Certainly consult with your surgeon to make sure he/she is comfortable with your healing process. In general, tanning is not healthy for your skin and leads to premature aging, wrinkles, and skin cancer. Tanning beds are falling out of favor due to the concentrated amount of UVA/UVB radiation they expose patients to, so I would consult with your plastic surgeon to get his/her opinion. In general tanning can lead to hyperpigmentation of scars despite sunblock use.

That level of sunblock should offer adequate protection at least for natural sun exposure. More specific advice can come from your surgeon.  All the best. 

Please consult with your board certified plastic surgeon on tanning bed restrictions  following surgery. You already know that tanning is not good for your skin and since you have spent time, money and effort on plastic surgey I hope you will reconsider.
