The Botox may have been injected along the sides of the upper portion of your nose to treat some wrinkles in that area. That area may have swelled or bruised from the injection. If the Botox was injected between your eyebrows, it would not "travel" to your nose although swelling could migrate there. I advise my patients to not do vigorous exercise for an hour or two after Botox injections, but may resume any activity after that. I also advise my patients not to massage the area of Botox infections to avoid possibly spreading the effect to an area that should be avoided such as the upper lid or the extraocular muscles that function to move the eye. If the Botox gets to close to the upper lid it could cause ptosis (sagging of the lid), and if too close to the muscles functioning to move the eye, could cause double vision until it wears off.Best wishes, Dr. Kiener
