The answer to this question is difficult to determine, given the unknowns. An in person consultation is required to provide an accurate assessment. It is most beneficial to discuss this with the surgeon who will be performing your surgery. All the best,
Dear Laurie, I have been in practice for 27 years, so I can tell you from my own experience, that tummy tuck is more difficult procedure for the patient and recovery is longer. To elucidate it, if you have a desk job, you would return to work, on average, 3-4 days after breasts augmentation and 1 week after tummy tuck. Breasts augmentation patient can do light excersize after 2 week and normal activity after 1 month, where as tummy tuck patient can excersize lightly after 6 weeks and return to normal activity after 2 months. Obviously, every person is different, but you should have an easier journey with your breasts augmentation surgery. Always, consult with board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures to make sure that the before and after pictures to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive. Check also the 'realself' reviews for positive patients experience which provides important information on the surgeons. Best of luck, Dr Widder
