Ive been using the 0.5 tazorac for 2 weeks and my skin looks amazing. Tighter, pore less and clear. Like when i was teenager.Mostly I use it 2 nights then skip a night.Add alittle moisture. My skin was awfully textured and wrinkled prior to use. Would you say this is a night cream or treatment only? You know how hydroquinone should be used short term. That's why I'm asking. I know pregnant women don't use tazorac.Do you think every night is more or less effective? Thank you!

Answer: Tazorac nightly Hello,Tazorac is an amazing retinoid. You can use for an extended period of time. I recommend lifetime except if you are pregnant or breast feeding. You can add a moisturizer in with it as well. It works great for fine lines and wrinkles. My recommendation if your skin can tolerate it to use the .1 % Q pm.

Answer: As tolerated Yes, Tazorac is a good cream for the prevention of sun damage, and fine wrinkles. It is a retinoid, as is incorporated in my personal weekly regime. This can be a long term treatment (I personally have been using retinoids on my skin for the past 2 decades). Obviously, with the warns pertaining to pregnancy, lactation and conception you should follow that!Otherwise- use for life. Some patients can tolerate nightly use, I can only use it once a week due to my sensitive skin type. All the bestDr Davin LimLaser and aesthetic dermatologistBrisbane, Australia.
