This is difficult to answer without at least some pictures. In general, Radiofrequency, Ultrasound, and Laser based treatments can help improve loose skin. There will be variable levels of intensity and invasiveness with each of these treatments depending on the amount of skin laxity. Often, Sculptra is combined to help further optimize results. I would recommend an in-person consultation and evaluation with an experienced physician provider to determine which specific treatments would be most appropriate for you. Best wishes.
Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
With non-surgical treatments, skin tightening can be done with a combination of vanquish, venus legacy, exilis, celllutone/Zwave. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like a VASER liposuction, which can be performed at the same time as an arm lift or other body lifting procedures, if you're a candidate. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermRF and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you so much for your question. I am very pleased with the results from Profound RF Dermal to tighten skin all over the body. We recently performed the procedure on patients who are very pleased with the results on their arms and legs. I encourage you to have a consultation and inquire about Profound. Best
This is one of the most frustrating conditions for patients. Even when you see improvements with great treatments such as radio frequency, ultrasound, and other energy-based treatments sometimes that loose skin comes back fast. As mentioned in the other responses you can get great results with Radio Frequency treatments. I see the best results from the TempSure and Pelleve treatment platforms. Other treatments include mesotherapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments, microdermabrasion, chemical treatment/peels, laser, and energy assisted liposuction and fat transfer that can help. Response to treatment is age dependent. The older you are the less responsive. A component that gets missed in many treatments and can really help in older patients is a hormone and micronutrient evaluation. Estrogen, testosterone, DHEA, Vitamin D are all hormones that play a role in skin health and "crepeiness." It is not just the hormone levels themselves, but the ratio and receptor response as well. There are many other factors as well including antioxidant status. Take all these into consideration when seeking a provider.
Hi, without a picture its difficult to assess, but I'll give it a go. Likely, Radio Frequency (RF) with a unit such as the Cynosure 'Tempsure" would help greatly. It uses RF generated precision heating to tighten collagen fibers within the skin over a few treatments. Sometimes we get visible results with just the first treatment! This can be complimented with Ultherapy an ultrasound treatment that targets collagen "below the skin" with tiny dots of thermal energy, again in order to "shrink" collagen fibers. Finally, tightening and smoothing can be achieved with a 1540nm fractional laser. This works especially well when combined with micro-needling. So there, without pics, I have given you a few ideas that work well for my patients. Good Luck, Dr Eric Shreder
Typically, the only reason you wouldn't be able to have these treatments is if you had a pacemaker/cardiac device implanted currently. This requires a formal evaluation and discussion for clearance with your physician. Best, Dr. Emer.
