Augmentation & scar revision recommendations post reduction? (Photos)

Question

Hello, I had a breast reduction in 2017. Although I asked questions, we never discussed incision placement. I was horrified to see how high the incisions went – an inverse "V" between my breasts. The scars are still very visible and red. The final blow was that the surgeon removed more than I requested, and I ended up a size C, not D (from GG). Mortified, angry with myself and him. I would like some fullness back, while also removing/improving the "V" scars. Recommendations?

If you want 1 size increase then you can undergo fat transfers.  You will need to have the scars revised and these can be done simultaneously under general anesthesia and takes 2 hours to perform.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like your scar can be improved as well as breast size. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.

Breast augmentation procedure will add the breast volume and give you a fuller cleavage that you desire.

Scar revision surgery can be performed to improve scar appearance.

I'd recommend a breast implant.  Moderate or Low Plus profile.  I keep the lower pole skin from stretching and to hold the implant up I'd use an internal bra mesh:  Durasorb or Galaflex.  I'd suggest laser scar therapy for the scars.

     Thanks for posting your pictures , however, it would have been helpful to see your full chest front and side views. In regard to the scars , they can be improved by placing them in the sub mammary creases. As far as the breasts' size, it can be enlarged to your desire with implants. Selecting the right size of implants will depend on your chest and breasts circumference measurements in inches.
    Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage and natural look.

Length of scars depends of how much skin surgeon has to remove during reduction; In some patients they may extend out of breast boundaries and be visible. Pigmentation of scars makes them more visible on top of this. Scar revision in some cases may result in even longer scars; laser treatment should be considered first. Volume augmentation may be successfully achieved with implants or fat grafts. Hope this helps.

To add fullness, you can get implants and place them behind the muscles for better support. Fat is limited on adding fullness. the scars cannot be moved, but can be treated with micro-needling or laser for improvement.

To make an accurate assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we generally need to see a complete set of proper before and after pictures.
If you don’t have before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took.
It does look like you’re prone to hypertrophic and or hyperpigmentation with your scarring. There isn’t much surgeons can do about how each individual person heals. Otherwise, the pictures don’t show anything abnormal.
