4 months post fractional CO2 and my skin has become evenly dark and tan looking in the treated area. What can I do? (photos)

Thank you for your question, this is hyperpigmentation and inflammation after your laser procedure which is common. skin care will help improve this as well as sun protection. In general, hyperpigmentation from any type needs a combination approach of peels like cosmelan, lasers like clear and brilliant and aerolase or laser genesis, radiofrequency like venus viva, and constant skin care and sun protection. Bimonthly facials with silkpeel dermalinfusion is essential to hydrate, exfoliate and infuse vitamins and antioxidants into the skin. Hyperpigmentation after laser is not uncommon and is an unfortunate side effect that may occur. The most important part of treatment is to use sunscreen daily. It is important to use some kind of lightening cream, often one that contains Hydroquinone and/or Tri-luma may be an excellent choice as it is available in America. Also combinations of Hydroquinone, Azelaic acid, Kojic acid and Arbutin may be used.
If available laser toning is helpful and has very little downtime or side effects and will usually help improve the pigmentation change after 4 treatments. If this is not successful you may want to consider a DermEclat mask or possible Halo or Fraxel  laser.
