Minoxidil induced shedding: can I combine PRP with Minoxidil?

Can i use daily minoxidil in combination with monthly prp for treatment of acute telogen effluvium with active shedding ? Any better alternatives for minoxidil to be combined with prp in this active stage?

There has been a report of sarcoidosis appearing in areas where PRP was injected for skin wrinkles. I do not know what area you plan on treating, however I would avoid using PRP if you have sarcoidosis.PRPHAIRMD.COM

The PRP itself should not cause what you describe however this may be related to injection technique or administration of anaesthesia.It may be a small collection of blood or fluid which should resolve on its own.I suggest following up with the practitioner who administered the treatment.
