What is the cause of my breast implant being flat on one side? 7 months post op. (photos)

I have 400 smooth saline moderate profile with a lift under the muscle. My implants aren't ruptured and my doctor can't tell me what is the cause if it. He says it's not that bad. To me it looks bad it hasn't gotten better and I'm 7 months out.

Exam in the office is required in order to assess a patient with these concerns. Some of the asymmetry may be related to preexisting differences that are "amplified" with the implant. The two sides often heal a little differently and out of the surgeon's control. Revision can be considered to improve shaping with new implants (higher profile and/or larger) or possible revision of the lift itself if the skin envelope is a bit asymmetric. "Sisters, not twins" is how we often describe the EXPECTED result after breast surgery, but you might benefit from revision if exam findings support that.

It is difficult to ascertain from your photos, but it looks like the implant may have potentially flipped over.  The flat portion should be against your chest wall.  Only an in person exam could say for sure.  They can occasionally be flipped back over in the office if that's the case, but it may require surgery to prevent a recurrence.  All of this is best discussed with your surgeon.
