Mostly atrophic (mixed) scars with volume loss - will Vivace be helpful in my case? I'm also considering fillers (Photo)

Based on your photos, I believe you could benefit from Vivace treatments. The microneedling and RF, which comprise the Vivace treatment, will not cause fat loss in your face. In fact, this treatment works to stimulate collagen production and promotes dermal remodeling of skin imperfections like acne scarring. Based on the options for needle penetration and RF energy, the in-office Vivace treatments will give a superior, quicker and much more predictable outcome than utilizing dermarolling at home. Combining Vivace with dermal fillers, if your budget allows, would also be a good option.

You are a good candidate for a combination of a series of Vivace treatments to will improve your skin tone and texture and shrink pores and fillers to disguise the volume loss present. Vivace improves the appearance of depressed scars by stimulating collagen production.  Vivace does not cause fat loss.   Make sure you get your treatments done with an experienced provider.

Often, we recommend a combination of technologies to get the best result. Vivace is one of those and the great thing about it, is the very minimal downtime. We often also consider Halo and Venus Viva, which have all showed to improve scars. As you mentioned, you may want to fine tune with filler, also, for the areas with more significant volume loss.
