I understand that 'results may vary' but I'm curious what I might expect. I'd love to hear about what's average/typical in terms of inches lost for someone approximately my size. Here are my details: I am 43 years old, 5ft 4 inches tall and 133 lbs. My measurements: Waist 27.5inches, Hips 40.5inches (fullest part), thighs 25.5inches. I'm considering getting Sculpsure on my waist and thighs (backs of my thighs and inner thighs).

Cynosure says that sculpsure takes up to 12 weeks to see results, with up to 24% reduction in fat cells in the area. It may be that the fat cells could lead to a maybe a 1/8 of an inch after one treatment, but we usually recommend 2-3 in order to see clinically visible results. It works by heat destroying fat cells and tightening the skin but the laser only penetrates so far. I recommend that you follow up with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has cosmetic training or experience with sculpsure.

Answer: Sculpsure Results--Add Vanquish, Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, VASER Sculpsure is good for removing stubborn areas of fat and patients can experience up to 25% reduction in fat in the treated area, however, usually this is with retreatment. Keep in mind, with Sculpsure, a combination of treatments is needed. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal, contouring and definition. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
