Thank you for your question. SculpSure is a body contouring procedure that is meant to create a slimmer appearance. You can review other treatments to break down scar tissue damage. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. Best wishes,
SculpSure treatments are designed to target fat cells and have no effect on improving scar tissue. There are alternative treatments available to address scar tissue so I would consult with a specialist for recommendations.
Thank you for your question. SculpSure is FDA- approved and highly effective in killing fat cells in unwanted areas such as flanks, abdomen, upper arms, thighs, knees, and other locations with fat deposits. SculpSure treatments do not break down scar tissue. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
SculpSure is a laser treatment that specifically targets fat cells. Meaning, the laser is set to a frequency that kills fat cells. Scar tissue, at least on a microscopic level, looks very different from fat cells, and so the laser setting is not meant to affect it. So, basically, I would not recommend SculpSure as a way to address scar tissue damage. You may want to consult with a surgeon, who can offer you alternate solutions.Good luck!
in the word no. SculpSure targets fat cells with a laser and skin including scar tissue on the skin is indivisible/trans parent to the laser. The heating action of the laser passes through the skin and will not alter scar tissue. What you were told perhaps was misinterpreted at best, or untrue.
Thanks for your question. Whoever told you that SculpSure would break down scar tissue is lying. It's a 1060nm laser that has a high affinity for fat. We would use the 755nm PicoSure, 1540nm Icon or a 10600nm Fractional Co2 laser for tummy tuck scars. As wavelength goes up, so does intensity and down time. Find a doctor's office that has several options. Best of luck.
Sculpsure will absolutely NOT breakdown scar tissue. It will decrease fat which may be around the scar tissue but don't expect it to change the scar tissue. david berman md
Tenderness is typical and can extend into surrounding areas. Keep in mind, with Sculpsure, a combination of treatments is needed. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquis...
In our experience what you encountered is not typical. Unfortunately, there is an extremely wide spectrum of pain tolerance in patients, going from no pain at all to the extreme of unbearable pain. While SculpSure certainly has some discomfort associate with treatment, the vast majority of our p...
At my practice we offer laughing gas to help patients be more comfortable during the treatment. See if the office offers that. The laser uses heat at high temperatures to destroy fat and most patients do not experience pain during the treatment, however everyone's pain tolerance...
