Hello ariannalewis,Thanks for your question. If you are more than 15 years old, you will not grow out of this nose.I would recommend that you seek out the consultation of a rhinoplasty expert if you want to change this. This is a relatively difficult nasal tip to improve, but not impossible.Good luck,Dr. Shah
Unfortunately you are not going to outgrow this problem and you should consult a plastic surgeons who specializes in correcting difficult noses.
Hi Arianna,Thank you for your question. From the photo, it is hard for me to tell the exact position of the nose. I do not think your nose will continue to rotate up as you grow. But it is also unlikely to come down on its own.Consult a rhinoplasty surgeon to discuss what could be done to bring the tip down and refine the nasal tip. You can make a decision with more information. As a side note, make sure you are not putting too much attention to what other people say. I rarely have patients asking me for less tip rotation unless they had surgery before that lead to an unnatural tip rotation and want it corrected. If you think the nose could benefit from a change, do it for yourself.Good luck
Thank you for your question. The first thing I will ask is how old are you? If you are 18 or over, then you can have this fixed. The view of your nose that is shown in the photo is called the worm's view. The bit of tissue in between your nostrils is known as the columella, and the bit of skin above the columella is known as the lobule. If you measured their lengths in mm or cm, then the ratio of the columella to the lobule should be in the region of 2:1Yours is more like 1:2 Do not worry! This can be corrected by a good rhinoplasty surgeon. Hope my answer helps you understand, and you need to stand up to the bullies.kind regards,Ivo
