I had braces almost a month ago without teeth extraction just to expand upper jaw to correct crossbite. Is it necessary to remove upper right and left premolars for better result?

VME, vertical maxillary growth, is a skeletal issue. Usually maxilla pushes the lower jaw down as well causing a weak profile. Orthognathic (jaw surgery) is necessary to correct the issue.
If you are not interested in surgery, the best thing to do would be to visit with a Prosthodontist that specializes in cosmetic dentistry to see what your options are.
