Can my canted smile be fixed? (Photo)

Question

I am scheduled to be getting my braces off in a few weeks. I have pointed out to my orthodontist that my smile is not aligned right. She thinks it’s fine. Can this be corrected?

Hi:Unfortunaltely with braces alone the smile can not be fixed.  You might want to consider jaw surgery one or cosmetic dentistry in order to lengthen the outside of your teeth on the right side with porcelain veneers.Best,Dr. Maddahi

I believe the only way to fix that is by having jaw surgery. Orthodontic movement alone could damage the gums and bones.
