I have a white spot on my stomach, it's been there for quite a while and I have no idea if it's a birthmark or vitiligo.

This appears to be a vitiligo patch which can be challenging to treat.  There is no simple way to "remove it."  In my experience, excimer laser can be helpful for facial lesions but other areas of the body can be quite challenging.  I would recommend consulting with an experienced and board-certified dermatologist for a proper evaluation and discussion of treatment options.

More info. needed. See a medical dermatologist, if this is long standing without any pigmented hair follicles, the chances of re-pigmenation is extremely slim. Even using excimer 308 lasers and creams will not result in repigmentatation. ReCell has poor success for segmental - long standing vitiligo. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Vitiligo Specialist.
