Hi Tee. If you have any flaking or light scabbing at the site sun or age spots, we would probably suggest waiting until the flaking stops. For our patients this is typically about 5-7 days. So 1 day would normally be too soon for our practice. If we are treating sun damage, we typically stick to lasers (q-switched) and if we are treating Melasma we typically use Hydroquinone. Those two programs seem to be combined in your situation, so we are curious about the condition being treated, sun damage or Melasma.
