Answer: Open rhinoplasty Open rhinoplasty is your best option for creating the result you are after. To achieve the appearance you show here, we are likely discussing a dorsal onlay graft (my preference is using fresh frozen donor rib cartilage for this), as well as tip reshaping and possibly alar base excisions. An open approach allows the best visualization and power to make changes in the shape of your nose, especially in the setting of thick skin. Find a well-trained and experienced rhinoplasty surgeon you like, and best of luck!

Answer: Ethnic Rhinoplasty - Dr. Bora Ok Greetings from Istanbul/Turkey! Due to bad scar formation in ethnic rhinoplasty, my first choice is closed rhinoplasty. However, if I encounter certain things like curvatures, irregularities or weak cartilages in the nose during the operation, I can switch to open rhinoplasty. According to the photos, my first choice for you would be closed.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Based on your photos, it does appear that an open rhinoplasty approach would make a nice change to your overall appearance. While there are a variety of approaches and techniques employed by various surgeons, it is up to you to do your due diligence to find a rhinoplasty specialist in order to achieve the best results possible. If surgery is not an option for you, nonsurgical rhinoplasty can be used to reshape the nose by adding volume to the nose with dermal filler. Good luck! @drdonyoo

Answer: You need rhinoplasty with a rib cartilage harvesting Hello, you have a nose typical of African American people. In these patients, the nasal root is flattened and the nasal tip is flattened (low projection). In this case, what needs to be done is to take cartilage from the rib during the surgery and place this cartilage as a block on the nasal root. thus the root of the nose needs to be elevated. However, the flatness of the tip of the nose needs to be corrected. that is, the projection should be increased by moving the tip of the nose away from the face. Since the piece of cartilage taken from the rib will be used in this surgery, it is a bit more challenging for the surgeon to perform it with the closed method. In challenging situations, the results may be worse. It can be done with the closed method, but my advice is to do it with the open method, it will provide a much better result. In the open method, a small scar may remain at the bottom of the nose (columella). However, this squeezing scar is usually too small to be seen.
