Can Accutane Cause Eye Floaters?

I started Accutane recently and have been noticing "floaters" in my eyes, I've been told these can't be caused by Accutane by my Doctor. I'm concerned, are these floaters permanent and could it be an effect of the Accutane?

It sounds like what you have is redness and "stains" which are post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). These discolorations usually resolve over time, after active acne is no longer present. However, it can take a year or more for this to happen. I'm wondering if you have more...

I get so confused by people who say they want to take care of their skin and then tan. This is so, so dangerous. People who tan are much more susceptible to skin cancers and melanoma, not to mention that tanning actually smells because it burns your skin. You cannot protect your skin with SPF...

Accutane interferes with healing and can increase the risk of scarring with laser treatments, dermabrasion, and likely, tattoos.  It is not recommended to have such elective procedures while on the treatment, and it would be wise to wait at least a year after the accutane course.
